Our Story
Vy’s Beauty Lounge was established in 2017 by entrepreneur Vivian Dong, driven by a passion for beauty and a commitment to providing exceptional service. The flagship location opened in the charming and historic Willow Glen neighborhood of San Jose, setting the foundation for what would become a trusted name in the beauty industry.

Vivian Dong is a passionate beauty professional who has continually sought to grow by learning from world-class masters and exploring innovative methods to expand her expertise.
She received professional training from top lash extension academies across the United States, Europe, and Canada, and was awarded First Place in the Global Lash Competition. Her work has been recognized and respected by many of the industry’s leading lash artists.
As a master lash technician with years of experience, Vivian has personally mentored numerous students who now help lead the company in delivering exceptional beauty services that elevate each client’s natural elegance.

Vivian has conducted in-depth research and tested hundreds of products to ensure that everything she uses on her clients meets the highest standards of quality. She is also the creator of the innovative “Double Fast” lash technique, which reduces application time by up to 50%. This method allows both beginners and professionals to complete a full set in just 60 to 90 minutes, compared to the traditional 2–3 hours.
